Maple Class found out that it was “National Compliment Week” last week, so we decided to celebrate it today (better late than never!)
We discussed why giving compliments is important and how great it makes us feel when we receive a compliment.
“A compliment might help someone in their everyday life,”
“You will make more friends,”
“It’s important to be kind,”
“The world can sometimes be a dull place, compliments make things happier!”
We spread the love by writing a compliment on everyone’s piece of paper. It was lovely to see people really thinking about the positive thing they were going to write about someone, and I especially enjoyed seeing people’s faces light up when they read their compliments!
I was very grateful for mine too 🙂

What a great idea! I think the world would be a better place if adults did this a lot too. Maybe when some of you grow up you can introduce this idea into your workplace!
