Maple Class 2018-2019 
Hi everyone in Maple class, my first full week of school in Canada has been good! I have lots of new friends and I have seen my old friends too. How are you guys doing? What are you learning? One of my teachers got a new puppy on Saturday, her name is Frankie and she is two months old, she is a Beagle mixed with a Schnauzer. We played with her. We also had butterflies, but we released them today so they could fly away.

Hi Elise, we’re doing great thank you. We are learning about one of the most famous artists Leonardo Da Vinci, we’re going swimming every Tuesday which is great fun. We are also learning about the skeletal and muscular systems in the human body. The puppy sounds really cute, can you send us a picture? We wish we could bring our pets to school š¦

Today at school I was playing with a small, blue robot! And its been very hot and sunny this week. The robot”s name is Jupiter Dash we were making it walk where we want it to by coding. Also I found a caterpillar outside today and we are learning about animals. Tonight I”m having some friends over for dinner we will run in the sprinkler. We are not in our real house yet and we are house-sitting and the people we are house-sitting for have a fluffy, black cat called Sparky.

Hi Elise,
Sorry for the delay. We wanted to wait until we had Sports Day on Thursday HOWEVER it got cancelled due to the British weather.
We’ve been swimming again at the Rapids, and we are really excited for our class trip next Monday.
We’ve desperately been trying to beat Tristan at the 8 times tables and Wilfred and Kayla beat him! Tristan got 11.56 seconds, Wilfred got 10.34 seconds and Kayla got 9.83 seconds!!! WOW!
In Maths we have been learning about shapes, and we’re close to finishing our guides to Wildflowers so we can type them up soon.
We hope you moved in safely today? What is your house like? Can you send us some pictures!
How is your cat?
We are still really missing you and wish you were with us.

Hello, I miss seeing and playing with you guys a lot. Is everyone enjoying starting to write your wildflower guides? Have you done anything for father’s day? Because I have made a book all about my dad and I put lots of pictures in it. Tomorrow is freezie Friday it is when the school sells freezies. Is there anything exciting or different going on? I’m going into my real house in four days on Monday.

On Father’s day we went to the beach and i found a crab’s leg.
Today we went to Marwell Zoo with our class and we saw a sloth, postman butterflies and a lot of fish! It was a really good day today. š
How’s your house?
We have the school fete happening on Friday and it’s going to be lots of fun. Wish you were here for it. š¦
How are you getting on in school? When do you break up for the holidays?

Hi Kayla, how is the last day of school? Our house is really nice, it’s really cool that you found a crab leg on the beach! I went in to summer holidays 3 weeks ago. I wish I could see you in person and school here is fun. The zoo sounds exciting! I am having a ballerina from Mexico staying with me for 3 weeks I am really excited! I hope you have a good summer. I miss you all.
